JDOF 2026 - Dhilmar Éléonore - Maximizing local economic benefits
Description
This conference aims to present the Dhilmar Éléonore mining project, its vision for economic development, and maximizing local benefits. Participants will have the opportunity to catch up on Éléonore, as well as its current and those in the medium-term projects.
The presentation will highlight recent, concrete examples of economic maximization, illustrating how partnerships with companies and suppliers have created value and strengthened local economic benefits. One section will be devoted to future needs and business opportunities, offering participants a clear vision of the sectors where collaborations are sought. The procurement process will also be explained in order to demystify the steps, expectations, and best practices for accessing contracts.
Finally, the conference will present the role and functioning of maximization committees as levers for dialogue, governance, and monitoring of economic benefits, promoting the active participation of partners and communities.
